Eduverse is an all-in-one workspace for private tutors and online schools — interactive boards, video lessons, scheduling, a student CRM and AI lesson tools. We treat the data you and your students trust us with as carefully as we would our own.
Who we are
Eduverse (“we”, “us”, “the platform”) provides educational software accessible at eduverse.cc and on personal subdomains in the form name.eduverse.cc. For data that tutors and schools store about their own students, the tutor or school acts as the data controller and Eduverse acts as a data processor on their behalf.
For account, billing and platform-usage data, Eduverse is the controller. If you have questions about either role, contact us at support@eduverse.cc.
Data we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service:
- Account data — your name, email, chosen subdomain, password (stored hashed) and plan.
- School & teaching content — boards, lesson materials, homework, schedules, notes and student profiles you create.
- Student data — names and progress, attendance and homework results that you, the tutor, add to the platform.
- Billing data — plan, subscription status and payment metadata (full card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us).
- Technical data — IP address, browser, device and basic usage logs needed for security and reliability.
How we use data
We use the data above to provide and improve the platform, specifically to:
- Create and run your branded workspace and subdomain.
- Deliver lessons, boards, scheduling, the student CRM and AI tools.
- Send lesson reminders and notifications you have enabled.
- Process subscriptions, prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
- Provide support and respond to your requests.
We do not sell your data or your students’ data to anyone.
Students & minors
Many students are minors. The tutor or school is responsible for having the appropriate consent from students or their parents/guardians before adding their information to Eduverse. You should only enter data that is necessary for teaching.
As the controller of your students’ data you may export or delete it at any time from your admin panel, and we will assist with any verified request.
Telegram & notifications
If you connect your own Telegram bot, Eduverse uses it to send your students automated messages — lesson reminders 3 hours and 5 minutes before a lesson, homework reminders synced with the Homework app, and school news you choose to broadcast.
Messages are sent only to recipients you have added. You control which notifications are active and can disconnect the bot at any time. Telegram processes message delivery under its own privacy policy.
AI features
When you use the AI Lesson Builder or other AI tools, the topic, notes or text you submit are processed to generate tests, exercises and materials. We do not use your students’ personal data to train external models, and AI requests are used only to return the result you asked for.
Payments
Subscriptions are billed through a third-party payment provider. Your card details are entered directly with that provider and are not stored on Eduverse servers. We keep only the information needed to manage your subscription, such as plan, status and transaction identifiers.
Sharing & processors
We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform — for example hosting, the payment provider, Telegram (for the bot you connect) and the AI provider that powers our lesson tools. These providers process data on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Eduverse and its users.
Cookies & local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language preference and keep the platform secure. You can clear them in your browser, but some features may stop working without them.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and delete your account, we remove your workspace data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example billing) to meet legal obligations.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored on secure infrastructure. Access is limited to what is needed to operate and support the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of Eduverse after changes means you accept the updated policy.
